THE CAMP

DESCRIPTION + /

The earthwork remains of a circular enclosure of unknown date known as The Camp. The site is defined by a single ditch with an outer bank. The enclosed area is circa 40 metres in diameter. It is included by Harding and Lee in their henge gazetteer, although they argue that it is unlikely to be a henge, and suggest a Medieval date, as do other sources.
