The earthwork and buried remains of a motte castle situated circa 90 metres south of Hindwell Brook. The remains include an earthern motte mound of circular form, circa 40 metres in diameter at the base and rising circa 1.5 metres to a flat top of circa 20 metres in diameter. The castle was abandoned by the 14th century. Scheduled.
