(SO 47824465) Site of (NAT) Moat (NR). (1)

An earthwork at Burghill (see plan) consistead "of a small square
platform surrounded by a moat, with an outside rampart upon the
south and east." Classified as a homestead moat. The mound has
now been completely levelled and the moat filled up. (2)

Only shallow ground undulations at SO 47884453 now denote the
site of a moat. Published Survey 25" Revised. (3)
