DESCRIPTION

A subcircular or oval enclosure is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The date of the enclosure is uncertain, but it is very similar in appearance to a Medieval ringwork 1000m to the north, known as Castell Brogyntyn (SJ 23 SE 6).

SJ 2754 3040. A subcircular or oval enclosure is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and has been mapped by RCHME's Marches Uplands Mapping Project. The enclosure is defined by a single bank 55m x 45m. Its date is uncertain, but it is very similar in appearance to a Medieval ringwork 1000m to the north, known as Castell Brogyntyn (SJ 23 SE 6).
