Site of a fortified manor house, possibly of 15th century date, demolished and rebuilt as a farmhouse in 1831.

(NZ 10831973) A supposed fortified manor at Snotterton (position of symbol on map agrees with the position of Snotterton Hall) was taken down, except for part of the shell, in 1831 and rebuilt as a farmhouse, now called Raby Grange. (1-2)

The farmhouse, now called Snotterton Hall is, said to have been built in the 15th century. Traces of antiquity can be seen in a mullioned window in the south east corner of the courtyards and the remains of a crocketed pinnacle on the roof of the western
range of buildings. (3)
