EAST TYTHERLEY MANOR HOUSE

Site of an Elizabethan Manor House, which had replaced a Mediaeval manor house. Cropmarks of the house and the earthworks of a formal garden to the south can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2003. To the north is a diagonal earthwork which represents an approach to the house which is aligned on a surviving track way which heads north east out of East Tytherley.
