This mutilated earthwork remains of either a bowl barrow or a bell barrow. A mound with its centre dug out is surrounded by a raised platform with a low bank on its perimeter.

Remains of a small camp in Hillersdon Wood, 8 1/2 miles south east of Tiverton. A simple defensive enclosure (Class C). (2)

Probably a barrow. (3)

Recent timber felling has mutilated the southeast side of the central mound. The southwest side of the earthwork was recently re-afforested. (4)
