(TL 40303341) Moat (NR). (1)

A homestead moat at Pain's End consisting of a wet ditch. Roughly parallel to the south face, at a distance of 60ft, are traces of a dry ditch. In fairly good condition. (2)

TL 40333345. A waterfilled homestead moat, measuring overall c 60.0m E-W by c 35.0m transversely, with arms from 7.0m to 10.0m wide. The moat was cleared and re-filled only in recent years.

The internal area is under grass and orchard, and shows no trace of a structure. Re-surveyed at 1:2500. (3)
