Site of a possible Iron Age settlement. Stone walls and banks of earth and stone were recorded at Bailey Hills. The site is now occupied by a cemetery extension and a school playing field, there are no visible remains of a settlement.

[SE 101 399] Stone walls and banks of earth and stone
have been recorded at Bailey Hills.
These finds point to an I.A settlement site. [Also refers to
querns from adjacent cemetary SE 13 N.W.10] (1-2)

The area of "Bailey Hills" centred SE 1014 3990 is occupied
jointly by school playing fields, and a cemetery extension.
There are now no visible remains or indications of a settlement,
although the site is topographically well situated. (3)
