CASTLE ARCH MUSEUM

House, built circa 1630, incorporating mid 13th century gate tower walls. The rear wing is dated 1672. The building was further extended in 1911. The earlier section of the house is timber framed and brick-clad, while the remainder is of chalk, flint rubble and brick. Now a museum and the headquarters of the Surrey Archaeological Society.
