CHAPEL ROYAL

The Chapel Royal forming part of St James's Palace is situated between Colour Court and Ambassadors' Court. It has a college chapel-like T plan and dates from the 1530s. It was largely redecorated circa 1836, however the panelled ceiling with painted Renaissance motifs dates to 1540.
