MONUMENT NO. 6534

DESCRIPTION + /

Possible site of a pele tower at Berrington, recorded in the 15th century. Built by 1415, it was decayed by 1541, and although partly repaired by 1561, nothing is known of its later history. The tower may have been superseded by a house, possibly built in 1689, part of which survives as an outbuilding.
