Earthwork remains of a Bronze Age bowl barrow surviving as an earthen mound 1.8m high and 20m in diameter; it is 9m in diameter across its flattened top.

(Area centred SJ 764 364) Mound at Ashley "... Situated in the field adjoining and to the north east of the Parish Church. It is roughly circular on plan. The circumference is about 84 yards at the base, the mound finishing at the top with a fairly level plateau. This latter is about 28 yards in circumference. This earthwork does not appear to have been excavated .... known locally as the 'auctioners mound' ...." (1)

(SJ 76353650) Flat-topped mound, average diameter 22.5m, height 1.8m. No trace of ditch. Situated on a slight northern slope at a height of approximately 500 ft above OD. A church service is held on the mound once a year on 'Plough Sunday'. A doubtful barrow. (2)

No change. No longer used for church services.

SJ 7635 3650: Bowl barrow surviving as an earthen mound 1.8m high and 20m in diameter; it is 9m in diameter across its flattened top. A ditch, approximately 3m wide, originally surrounded the mound but this is now infilled. Scheduled RSM No. 21530. (4)
