SCORBOROUGH HALL

Medieval moated site occupied by an early/mid 18th century house. This house stands on the site of an earlier manor house which was fortified during the Civil War but later demolished. The present house was extended in the late 18th century and is brick-built with slate and pantile roofs. There is also a late 18th century brick bridge over the moat.
